The Torreon Equestrian Center is located in an ideal location for trail riding in the beautiful Sitgreaves National Forest in the White Mountains of Arizona. Our facility abuts the groomed marked trails of “Tracks” trail system.
We also have an exceptionally large (52 x 88 yard) arena that is available for dressage and exercising your horse on the property.
My husband, Tom, and I purchased the equestrian center in 2021 and have made many improvements over the 4-year period, including building a hay storage barn, adding 9 new large turnouts, installing automatic waterers, and numerous upgrades to fencing and overall maintenance of the facility. We also added 3 RV hookups and added a 37-foot RV Trailer, all available for rental. In 2024, we added a second mare motel with 8 stalls, a large tack and feed room, expanding our boarding facility to 41 horse boarding stalls.
Prior to the start of the 2022 season, we added a rental cabin, “Haflinger House”, with a large turnout and a 12′ x 24′ run-in for 2 horses. This “Haflinger House” is ideal for someone looking to get out of the Arizona heat with their horse and have fun trail riding in the White Mountains.
I am an avid trail rider and have enjoyed riding in the White Mountains for the past 12 summers. During winter months, my husband and I have a small ranch with my 4 horses in Gold Canyon, AZ. I love riding in the desert as well! I feel so lucky to be able to trail ride all year long in great weather and on beautiful trails.
